Tim Morris is a 1992 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology. A Charlottesville native and 1985 graduate of Charlottesville High School, Tim went on to become a four-year letter winner for UVA Football, starting 10 games at center on one of the most dominant teams in program history.
With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Tim is the founder of Blue Ridge Financial Services, where he leads with a philosophy grounded in family, friends, and community. Known for his friendly, outgoing personality, Tim takes pride in putting his clients first.
A lifelong supporter of UVA Athletics, Tim is a football season ticket holder and can often be found cheering on the Cavaliers at basketball games. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer, a seasoned traveler, and a loyal Washington Commanders fan—though he enjoys nothing more than relaxing in his favorite chair on Sundays watching the game.
Tim’s dedication to service extends beyond his career. He spent 10 years as a board member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at UVA and currently serves on the board of the Virginia Football Alumni Club.
His academic and professional credentials include a Certificate in Financial Planning from the Center for Corporate Education at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business (2004) and graduation from the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia (2004). In addition, he holds multiple FINRA licenses—including SIE, Series 7, 63, 65, and 26—with LPL Financial.
Tim resides in Waynesboro, Virginia, with his wife, Vicky. Together, they enjoy a blended family that includes their children—McKinley, Mitch, Lexi, and Timmy Jr.
